Adventures in Gardening: The Magical Season

I’m like a child when it comes to all things nature. I still marvel at the magic of the season changing, the return of the robins and the seedlings emerging everywhere I look. Mostly the weeds outside, but still. It’s SPRING!!

Last night I forgot to turn off my grow lights (I really should put them on a timer I suppose) so the plants got an extra dose of sunshine. I doubt it will hurt them, they’re doing really, really well.

I think every single pumpkin seed I planted sprouted…

The alyssum is making a comeback, thankfully. It just needed a little more TLC than I was giving I guess…

I’ve nearly dug out all the seedlings to up-plant from the bottom tray there, so now there’s room for more seedlings.

The morning glories are really the stars of the show there in the middle tray, though. I can’t wait to have flowers sooner this year after always planting those from seed and having to wait and wait and waiiiit.

I hate waiting! 😄
