The eggs are dyed, the roast is in the oven and the weather is absolutely beautiful. We awoke to a gorgeous sunrise and it has only gotten better from there…

Dinner will be ready soon and it’s almost warm enough to eat outside, but not quite. Still, it is warm enough that I have to put my wreaths on the outside of the glass storm door or else they will melt. Last year I lost my Easter wreath to that very thing so this year I just have to worry about the wind blowing it away…

Thankfully the wind hasn’t been kicking up yet, so I feel doubly blessed today.

It’s almost time to start my outdoor herb garden so last week I took a few cutting off the indoor basil and started them rooting…

They were flowering this morning, which was a nice Easter surprise! 🐰
