Most people who visit our “backyard” come during spring or summer and don’t get to see the grandeur of the Tetons in winter. To me, it’s the best time of year to witness these majestic mountains in person.
I love finding splashes of color against the snowy white background. Whether it’s bright red berries…

Or an old red barn…

Or a red wagon buried in the snow…

I have another photo I took of a pair of hunters clad in bright orange vests who had just taken a big, beautiful elk. Its red blood had spilled out onto the snow as they were hauling it down the mountain and to me it fits in here perfectly with these photos. I understand some of my readers may not appreciate seeing that though, so I will keep it in my private collection. 😉
