Speaking of Swans

I happened to look out the window last night just in time to see them silhouetted against the sunset way off in the distance and I knew right away from their outline that these weren’t cranes or herons or ducks or geese.

My beautiful trumpeter swans seem to have followed me back home. πŸ™‚

Flock after flock flew past, way off above the tree line just as the last rays of light faded. It looked so serene and poetic.

It looks like I’ll have to keep an eye out at sunrise and sunset since that’s when they tend to pass by. It also looks like I’m probably going to be posting a lot of pictures of swans for the foreseeable future. I do apologize in advance (not really). πŸ˜„
