Aside from actually physically being up in the mountains and waking up to see the magnificence in person, preferably while safely tucked into a bear proof container of some sort, there’s really no better way to start the day than by tuning into the local webcams to watch the morning come alive here.
This morning’s sunrise was soo pretty!

I scrolled back to yesterday on the Alpine, Wyoming one and found this beautiful rainbow, too…

If you’ve read this blog long, you’ll know that’s the area where we love to run our dogs and I’ve posted tons of photos from us in Alpine with the sled in the snow. Summertime is a whole other level of gorgeous, though.
What a great way to start my day. It makes me want to load up the buggy and head up there with the pups but I can’t since the hubs is at work and I’m still on my learner’s permit driver’s license until I go take the skills test (I have up to a year to do that and knowing me I’ll wait until the very last week lol).
Second, there’s no way I could handle the dogs by myself anyway. I would end up losing half of them out in the woods and then I’d probably get eaten by a grizzly bear out trying to find them or worse, survive and have to be rescued after three days and end up as top story in the local news. How embarrassing. That would kind of ruin this great day I’m starting out here!
So I’ll play it safe. I hope you are having a great day, too, wherever you are! 😘
I would stay safe in the house. Grizzly bears are dangerous creatures.

Amazing place! I loved the second photo of the plain pastures with the mountains on the background.
