We aren’t the only ones celebrating Father’s Day today. Last night Fred became a father for the first time and more chicks are hatching as I type this.

He actually crowed when I told him the good news but he crows at me every time I talk so… 😄

The daddy swallow is still on guard duty…

And the daddy robin has been feeding his babies all morning. The mom flies back and forth and brings him worms to share with them and I’m enjoying watching the two of them raise their little family.

Their babies are getting big quickly!

Soon they’ll fly off to make babies of their own and the circle of life will continue, as it should.
