Taking a Moment

Sometimes I forget the important things, like allowing myself to just stop everything and live in the moment. Nature has a funny way of reminding me to do just that and it usually grabs my attention when I need it the most.

The sunset out of my bedroom window last night was absolutely beautiful and helped ease my mind from worrying about all the not so nice things going on in the world that I’ve been worrying way too much about.

It was nice to get lost in the magic for a few minutes.

Then this morning the little sparrows singing a happy song beneath the window feeder reminded me again that there are plenty of things to not worry about.

Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Matthew 10:31

As Easter weekend approaches I’m going to try to remember just to let go of my worrying, hand it over to Him and enjoy these little moments that God has given us.

I hope you do, too. ❤
