My little squirrel friends have been back every morning, raiding the bird feeder much to my delight and much to the dismay of the starlings (lol).

Those poor, poor dears.

I did start refilling the flower box feeder outside the bay window upstairs again just so the sparrows and finches and chickadees could get something without having to fight the squirrels or the starlings (who don’t seem to care to get that close to the window). I kinda missed having the little birds right there up close and personal anyway.

I do hope the squirrels lose their fear and at least come visit me in the pine tree next to the window soon. They are just so dang cute!

We are supposed to get more snow and cold temps again here in SE Idaho, but it won’t be too much longer and this will all be a distant memory. I hope. The cabin fever is making ME feel a bit squirrelly! 😄
