The sunsets have been incredibly beautiful again the last week or so, and while it would be better if there were huge trumpeter swans flying across them like before, I’m still happy to witness these “sky paintings” as they unfold before my eyes each evening.




I noticed that this little airplane has been doing multiple circles over the area every night for about the same number of nights the swans have been absent. I think he (or she) is the reason why they may have changed course in order to make their way back to Island Park in the evenings. 🤨

That’s okay because I’m still seeing them going south in the mornings, so I suppose it’s only fair to share them at sunset with folks on the other side of the valley.
