Hunter’s Moon

I was able to get a few good pictures of last night’s Hunter’s Moon which, while beautiful, still didn’t look quite as impressive as the pictures I took the night before.

Still, it was lovely, and made me wish I was out there in the wild with the bugling elk that we could hear in the distance.

Or beneath the antler arch which was lit up last night and framed beautifully by the golden glow of the autumn trees.

We’ll be back again there soon, since we’ll be celebrating our anniversary at the Bentwood Inn, which I am so looking forward to!

It was hard to decide where to go but I’ve been wanting to stay there for ages and right now we are at that magical time of year when the prices are at their lowest between major tourist seasons so we got a great deal on a gorgeous suite for a few days.

Hopefully we will see a lot of moose since they love that areas and hopefully the fall colors will hang in there just a few weeks more…
