It’s so sad to watch my beautiful pumpkin vines shrivel up and wither away, but it is fall now (well, almost) so, yeah. It was bound to happen, right?

I just wish all of our pumpkins had ripened before now. We did manage to harvest quite a few though; some ripe and some not-so-ripe. I asked the hubs why he was taking some of the green ones and he said, “you’ll see!”.

Some were for baking…

…and some for decorating.

Some went to the pups to “play” with (ha!)…

…and some went to the ducks and chickens.

The rest will just have to suck it up and get through the cold nights, or eventually get thrown to the ducks and chickens and pups.

To uh, “play” with… 😂
