My favorite time to go mushing is early morning. I can’t put into words how magical it is to wake up, rub the sleep out of our eyes, load up the pups and head up the mountain to our favorite trail head just as the sun is rising.

It’s the best time of day for running sled dogs because the snowmobilers aren’t usually out yet so the trail is all ours.

The team is always happy to wake up and go for a run, of course!

It feels like we have the whole world to ourselves, and what a magical world it is…

Sometimes it’s hard to capture in photos just how majestic it is. Bumping along in the sled while trying to do so is even harder!

The ride is always over too soon, but the memories will last forever.
