There is nothing quite like waking up just before sunrise and taking in the breathtaking views from the Teton valley.

We are incredibly blessed to live at the foothills of the Grand Tetons. I never dreamed that one day I would live here and I can honestly say that each time I see these majestic mountains I am humbled by their beauty and grateful that fate led us to this part of the world.

The best part about living here in SE Idaho is knowing we can load up the dogs, hop in the truck and be in the heart of these beautiful mountains in almost less time than it takes to put the sled harnesses on the pups.
Sometimes we hook up the RV and spend a few days at a time, breathing it all in. We hike, we fish, we count the stars and we count our blessings every single time. We’ve lived here for over a decade now and I have literally thousands of pictures from all four seasons, taken from sunup to sundown, all of which I cherish, because each holds a special memory for me.

The second best part of living here is knowing on days like today I don’t even have to get out of bed to enjoy the local views. I can just click over to SeeJH.com and visit the live webcams that are set up all around us, just up the road, and what’s even better is you can, too!!
Each one of these photos is a screenshot from the live cams this morning. π
Enjoy!
My wife and I love this area! Hoping to visit again this year.

You are indeed lucky to live in such a gorgeous area. My only worry is the cold but I suppose with well heated houses and good outdoor clothing, one can survive anything. I think for views like this I could well change!

It actually works in my favor as I have mastocytosis and am literally allergic to the heat. So I have a really hard time in the summer months between it and the pollen. Winter is my best time of year medically speaking. π

So beautiful. In the mid-80s, we were fortunate to fly out of Jackson to Darwin Ranch to enjoy the area for a couple weeks. Your blog brings back fabulous memories — and a bit of envy. π
